True. The color on that one just gorgeous!
Hard to ignore the sub $14k price of that Z06 though! To think, I spent more than that on a used ‘11 Malibu a couple years ago. Man, I am an idiot!

yeah the price of that freak Z06 is too hard to ignore. Malibu has way more room that a Z06. Better economy, practical, comfy, etc.

All true. Unfortunately the Malibu turned out to be a pile of shit. I dumped it at a loss on the local Mazda dealer 11 months later (traded it and my wife’s ‘06 Mazda 3 for a new CX-5 for her). The dealer also dumped it at a further loss months later.

I want an Esprit, but I don’t fit in the damn things at all. A Jag XJR, however...
There are few better performance bargains out there than the C5 Z06. They’re unbelievably capable, and super cheap.

I know! And they have a solid reputation, but this one was very lemony. I was averaging a problem every 1500 miles. That included two breakdowns and a failure to start. The water pump shit the bed at something like 40k miles. Fortunately it was a CPO car, so it didn’t cost me any money. But I couldn’t trust it to haul my kids around in anymore, so it had to go.
